Established in 1974, the Center encourages advanced studies, research, and specialization in insurance and risk management.  The Center organizes conferences and publishes scientific articles on insurance and risk management. Its annual conference is an important forum for convening representatives of the insurance sector’s academic and business communities, to discuss topical issues in the field.  It is also the forum for awarding the Charlotte and Shabtai Berliner Prize for Theoretical Insurance Research and the Eilon Gottlieb Prize for Applied Insurance Research.
