Established in 1986, the Institute provides support for research activities, teaching, and dissemination of information on the development and application of computerized information systems.

The Information Systems (I.S.) Club

Established in 1986 as part of the Marcel and Annie Adams Institute for Business Management Information Systems, the Club  serves as a focal activity of the Institute in its attempt to advance I.S. management in Israel. The Club provides a social-professional forum for the most senior I.S. executives in Israel as well as researchers and policy setters in the area of computers and information systems. Members of the Club represent the entire range of the I.S. community in the various sectors of the Israeli economy. The Club meets once a month (eight times in an academic year) to address an issue of professional interest. It is the Israeli chapter of the Society for Information Management (S.I.M.), the international society of senior information systems executives.
