The Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration in Tel Aviv University announces a conference in memory of Shmuel Kandel, who passed away in January 2007.
The conference will take place on December 19-20, 2007, in Tel Aviv University in Israel.
The keynote speaker is Professor Stephen Ross, who was Shmuel’s Ph.D. advisor. One of the sessions will be devoted to Shmuel’s work and it will be presented by his co-authors. The conference will start with a dinner on Tuesday, December 18. The academic part will continue until about 1 PM on Thursday, Dec. 20th. To defray some of the costs associated with the conference, there is a conference fee of $120.
